DONATIONS/PRIZES NEEDED
The Oldsmobile Outdoor Club is coming to Grayling the weekend of February 10th – 12th for their annual Winterfest!! There will be 400-500 people here from this club enjoying what Grayling and Crawford County have to offer!! They have chosen Grayling as their new venue this year….so let’s show them what a great community we are, and that we want them back next year. They will be shopping, eating and recreating all weekend in Grayling. They will be holding a kid’s fishing contest on Saturday, February 11th from 10am – 12pm on Lake Margrethe and have invited local children ages 12 and under to participate. All children who participate will receive a prize…so therefore they are looking for donations from our local businesses to help them out with 60-70+ kids prizes, as well as gift certificates, prizes, etc ($5+ value) for adults during their bingo & ice fishing contests. If you are able to donate anything (big or small), please contact the prize committee chair Laura Gettle via email at gettle.laura@gmail.com or via phone at 989-366-8786 or 989-709-1991. They would like to have these prizes/donations in their hands by February 2nd if possible. All donations can be dropped off to the Grayling Chamber by February 2nd and we will get them to the prize committee. THANK YOU!!
